Description
27" (68 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head, brown painted boy's hair with defined bangs, intaglio eyes in small half-moon shape, black and incised upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils of upturned nose, very chubby cheeks with impressed dimples at cheek corners, and double chin, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, well-costumed in brown woolen jacket, white woolen pants, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7647 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model in fabulous larger size with wonderful definition of character expression, original body finish.
