Description
29" (74 cm). All carved wooden doll, with swivel head having intricate carved hair captured in arranged bun at the back of the head, sculpted ears, painted upper glancing blue eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, lightly tinted brows and lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Swiss, circa 1920. Value Points: an exceptionally large model of this doll, with excellent detail of carving, fully articulated, costume appears original.
