Description
9" (23 cm). Brown-complexioned solid domed bisque socket head with painted black baby hair and hole at top of head from which protrudes a mohair topknot, black glass side-glancing googly like eyes, painted lashes, shaded brows, broad nose, wide beaming smile with pronounced lips, row of teeth, pierced ears, brown composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach Koppelsdorf 463 15/0 Germany DRGM. Comments: Heubach of Koppelsdorf, circa 1920,from their South Seas series. Value Points: fine original condition with beautiful lustrous complexion, original earrings and bangle necklace, skirt.
