Description
Thirteen nodders, 3 1/2"-4" (9-10 cm). Each has bisque head loosely attached to bisque body in "nodder" fashion, with painted facial features and amusing costumes and accessories. Included are Lord Plush-bottom, Mush-mouth, Emmy, Uncle Willie, Little Egypt, Mr. Bailey, Widow Zander, Old- Timer, Grandpa Teen, Uncle Bim, Ma Winkle, Pa Winkle, and Auntie Mamie. Each marked with name of character and designer, and Made in Germany. Circa 1925. Excellent condition with unusual vibrancy of original colors and designs of the rarely found comic series character.
