Description
10" (25 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, multi- feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition fully jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body is appropriately sized and of the period, but not original. Marks: R. 6/0 D. (head) (remains of original Steiner label on torso). Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1884. Value Points: very beautiful petite bebe whose plump full cheeks are complemented by delicate bisque and painting, rare small size.
