Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, patented body of cast metal armature with padded and stockinette cover, bisque hands and lower legs with bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: bisque head by Gaultier, on original Gesland body, circa 1875. Value Points: rare body style with beautifully detailed hands and bare feet, choice bisque, included is lovely antique aqua silk fashion gown and fine French wooden doll chair with original stenciling and silk upholstery for posing the doll.
