Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked fringed brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, blonde mohair wig, cork pate, French composition fully-jointed body, straight wrists, lovely antique red serge costume, flannel hat with red ribbons, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 9. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque, appealing shy expression, original body and body finish, and with original boutique paper label from Magasin des Enfants in Paris.
