Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose E 8 J (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1883. Value Points: beautiful all-original bebe with very fine bisque and painting, original body and body finish, aqua silk couturier costume from the workshops of Ernestine Jumeau, bonnet, with original Jumeau undergarments, Jumeau socks and aqua kidskin shoes with silk rosettes incised "E.Jumeau Med d'Or Paris".
