11"l cat (28 cm). White furry-covered paper mache kitten with pink-lined leather ears, green glass eyes, painted pink nose, has articulated limbs and a wire looped above the torso with an attached orange ball. When wound, the ball swings back and forth and the kitten appears to leap for the ball, in a humorous and realistic manner. Excellent condition. French, circa 1895.
