Description
17"w x 12"h (43 x 30 cm). A wooden cabinet with angled sides hinges open on two sides to reveal a playground interior comprising three double- seated swings and a ticket stall. Each swing, which suspends from room by metal wires, has two all bisque dolls in original children's costumes, and another bisque doll sits at the ticket stall. When wound with key, the music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1900. Value Points: an amusing and colorful playset is well preserved, rare to find.
