Description
18" (46 cm). Paper mache shoulder head with perfectly oval face, elongated strong throat and sloping shoulders, black hair waved smoothly away from face into tightly coiled braids at the back of the head, painted brown eyes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, slender kid body with wooden lower limbs, painted flat green shoes, antique costume. Condition: paper mache excellent, kid heavily patched. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: strong and imposing figure is perfectly presented with unusual hair, throat and shoulder shape, brown eyes.
