Description
19" (48 cm) square frame, 8" (20 cm) doll. A bisque socket head doll with brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, blonde mohair wig, five piece composition body, painted shoes and socks, is presented on original lace- edged muslin clothes, wearing original lace-edged dress and bonnet, and surrounded by a trousseau of additional costumes and accessories. The original presentation is presented in antique style shadowbox frame under glass. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: doll and trousseau, circa 1900,for the French market. Value Points: wonderfully preserved arrangement of pretty petite doll and her trousseau.
