19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, wide brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G made in Germany 11 143. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful brother and sister, she with brown eyes and long softly-curled mohair wig, and he with blue eyes and blonde mohair wig, wearing matching sailor costumes.
