Description
30" (76 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, thickly brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, mauve blushed eyeshadow, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, very plump composition and wooden body with attached ball- jointed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 18 102. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque with fine dewy patina, closed mouth, original early body with original finish, elaborate white wool costume and additional costumes included.
