Description
12" (30 cm). Solid domed bisque shoulder head with very pale bisque, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, original muslin body, bisque arms to above the bent elbows, bisque lower legs and bare feet, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: very pretty early closed mouth child with bisque bare feet, original body.
