The wooden dollhouse with two stories and attic has mansard style roof with two gable windows, closed wooden sides and back, four windows at the front (two on each floor) centering front doors, the second floor front door opening to a small balcony with wooden fretwork railing. The house has original lithographed paper "shingles" on roof, and painted green exterior walls with blue/grey trim, well-defined architectural framework of windows, pencil stripe designs on doors, gilt ormolu knocker at each door. There is one large attic room and two rooms on each floor with opening door between; the house has original (frail and dusty) wall and floor papers throughout, and the Belgian lace curtains with silk fringe ties may be original. The house contains a number of furnishings from the era including pianos, organ lamp, potty chair, Art Nouveau pier mirror, gilt metal fireplace, music stand and many more; as well as some bisque dollhouse dolls.
