Description
8"l (20 cm). One piece all bisque figure of baby seated inside his papa's shoe, his feet protruding from a hole in the toe, with arms outstretched as though lacing the shoes, head turned downward in concentrating expression, blonde sculpted curls, blue painted eyes with accent dots, closed mouth with two beaded upper teeth, sculpted detail of baby smock. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany (red stamp). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare and amusing figurine with lifelike pose, fine sculpting and bisque.
