Description
20" (51 cm.) Brunette hair with two little forehead curls and hair drawn back and captured in clusters at the crown and nape; her crown centered by three rosebuds enclosed in netting. Wearing ivory silk ball gown with closely-spaced pattern of rich pink camellias, long velvet stole with constructed sleeves and camellia-patterned satin lining, hooped tiered petticoat, panties, seamed stockings, red cross-strap heels, matching rhinestone necklace, bracelet and brooch, prismatic rhinestone drop earrings, Lucite purse with applique flowers. The costume is tagged. Excellent condition, slight fading of velvet color. Alexander, model 2283 from the "Dolls to Remember" series of 1958, described in that catalog as having "such beauty in color...soft as a cloud".
