Description
20" (51 cm.) Brunette wig with hair drawn back from sides of face and captured in clusters at the crown and nape, daintily arranged little curls at the forehead. Wearing tagged ivory silk ball gown with closely-spaced pattern of rich pink camellias, long velvet stole with constructed sleeves that is lined with matching silk of gown, hooped tiered petticoat, panties, seamed stockings, silver sling heels, matching rhinestone necklace and bracelet, solitaire ring with large "diamond", prismatic rhinestone drop earrings, rosebuds arranged in hair. The costume is tagged "Cissy". Near mint condition. Alexander, model 2283 from the "Dolls to Remember" series of 1958, with square Cissy wrist tag. The doll was described in the 1958 catalog as "such beauty in color...soft as a cloud".
