Description
28" (71 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass eyes that "flirt" in continuous movement when clockwork mechanism is wound at back of head, long painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, brush stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, dimpled chin, brunette human hair, composition bent limb baby body, antique baby dress and apron. Condition: generally excellent, eyes function well. Marks: 1294 72. Comments: Franz Schmidt, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful character expression enhanced by choice bisque and very rare mechanical flirty eyes.
