Wooden framed box with decorative paper covers and fancy brass handle opens to reveal well-fitted interior designed for child learning various needlework skills, viz. brass stencils, alphabet samplers, miniature boxes with decoupage, beads, thread, sewing tools such as scissors, thimble, needlecase, along with canvas with miniature sample blocks. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.
