Pressed bisque swivel head with pale complexion, perfectly oval shaped face with expressive features, elongated throat, Dehors patented neck attachment allowing the doll to nod, tilt and swivel its head, bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye cuts, painted lashes, heavily modeled eyelids, arched feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with slightly smiling expression on pale accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, shapely kid body with kid-over-wood dowel jointed upper arms, bisque arms from above the elbows, gusset jointed hips, inset wooden ball-jointing at knees, kid limbs. Condition: generally excellent, right baby finger reglued. Comments: Alexandre Dehors, identical models have been signed Dehors, the doll has the signature Dehors neck attachment, circa 1866.
