The walls are papered with faux-marble wainscoting and the floor is covered with faux red stone. There is a fireplace with floor-to- ceiling chimney, two pairs of faux-doors below large hand-painted murals (one is signed illegibly),built-in corner shelf, two very elaborate gilt-leaf-over-cardboard mirrors with cut-work scenes at the crest, and original handmade delicate furnishings including table and chairs, spinning wheel, settee, secretary, console table, clavichord, and miniature framed oval portrait. There are elaborate table settings in silver and crystal, a crystal chandelier, fine porcelains and silk draperies at the windows. There are six wax dolls (one missing an arm) with original elaborate hand-made costumes occupied in various activities. An original ink script paper label at the front of the house indicates T.F. Vallat,Paris,1809. An extraordinary early miniature furnished and peopled room with maker's signature.
