Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, rose blushed eye shadow, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with beautifully-shaped lips, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 12 (and artist check marks, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful quality of sculpting, complexion and features, original body and body finish, wearing antique blue woolen mariner costume.
