20" (51 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecuts, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully articulated body with dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, ball-swivel waist, included is antique costume and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: I. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his 1869 deposed patent for articulated poupee. Value Points: very rare large model with exquisite bisque, fully jointed body with very flexible posing possibilities.
