Bisque socket head portraying adult lady with very pronounced angular facial features, large blue glass inset eyes, incised upper eyeliner, painted long lashes, widely arched brows with decorative highlights, strong nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden fully jointed body with adult female shaping. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (head unmarked) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (paper label on body). Comments: mystery maker, circa 1900. Value Points: very rare character model with uniquely sculpted features, very fine quality of bisque with lustrous patina, original muslin gown with trim, bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
