All wooden doll with carved socket head, large brown painted eyes with white eyedots, heavily lidded eyes, black eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body, rose silk dress, undergarments, knit teddy, Schoenhut shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan 17th 1911,USA (label). Comments: Schoenhut, model 308,circa 1917. Value Points: beautifully preserved original condition of the rarer model with artful painting, original costume.
