Description
17" (43 cm). Muslin doll with three-part stitched head, having center band of fabric between the flat-dimensional face and rounded head band, painted curly blonde hair, brown outlined eyes with black pupils, single stroke brows, defined nose and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blushed cheeks, muslin stitch- jointed body, stitched-on black sateen stockings and leather shoes. Condition: good, original finish albeit well scrubbed and faded. Comments: American, late 19th century. Value Points: appealing and well-loved cloth doll in original handmade costume.
