Description
12" (30 cm). Bisque head with flanged neck portraying highly characterized clown with pointy nose, thickly brows, incised and painted clown wrinkles, blue sleep eyes, hinged jaw, painted open mouth with teeth, muslin body with bellows mechanism, paper mache lower limbs. When bellows squeezed, the clown should blink eyes and open and close mouth. Condition: bisque excellent, bellow mechanism not working. Marks: DRGM 23598/14 1. Comments: rare novelty doll with character face, original silk jester cap.
