4" and 9" (10 and 23 cm). Each has one piece
carved wooden head and torso with shapely
waist,painted black hair with forehead curls and
carved tuck comb,painted facial features
clustered in center of face,dowel-jointing at
shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,painted
shoes,remnants of original costume. Condition:
very good. Comments: Grodnertal,circa 1840. Value
Points: very appealing facial painting on the
mother and child wooden dolls.
