Description
To fit Huret style poupee,16"-17" (40-43 cm). The costume comprises a fine sheer muslin blouse with full sleeves and fitted cuffs, delicate embroidery on front placket and cuffs; along with silk taffeta box-pleated skirt in bronze and gold narrow stripes, decorated with blue silk pleats and narrow blue velvet ribbon. The costume was featured in the book, The Trousseau of Blondinette Davranches. Very fine condition. The costume is a quality to suggest its origin from Huret, Bereux or Herbillon. Circa 1860.
