22" (56 cm). Paper mache shoulder head with cameo- shaped face and elongated throat, black glass enamel flirty eyes ,painted lower lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, black painted pate under original human hair wig in elaborate braids, muslin shapely torso and upper limbs, wooden lower arms and legs, orange painted shoes. Condition: very good, original lustrous patina on complexion, a few characteristic craze lines on shoulders. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: rare large model with flirty eyes, original costume.
