14" (35 cm). Pink tinted porcelain shoulder head with rounded facial modeling, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, some body patching. Comments: circa 1860. Value Points: the early poupee is preserved in her original French trunk along with an elaborate trousseau comprising three two-piece gowns, three dresses, hoop, corset, 4 chemises, silk robe, apron, black velvet jacket, black cape, two umbrellas, six bonnets, tea set, stockings with original garters.
