13" (33 cm) head circ. Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, brown painted baby hair with forelock detail and tinted brows, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin baby body, composition hands, elaborate antique baby costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: P Simon & Halbig 170-36. Comments: Simon & Halbig for Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1925. Value Points: rare model with most endearing expression, choice bisque and sculpting.
