18" (46 cm). Pressed bisque swivel head on kid- edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with high defined eye sockets, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, rose blushed eyeshadows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented and shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully articulated body with dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, ball-swivel waist, undergarments included. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1869. Value Points: very beautiful example of the deposed poupee with wonderfully articulated body, original earrings, wig, fine original finish of body.
