19" (48 cm). All wooden doll with carved socket head, painted azure blue eyes with upper glancing pupils and white eyedots, heavily lidded eyes with black eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth with full pouty lips,blonde mohair wig in long ringlet curls, all-wooden spring jointed body, blue cotton dress, undergarments, original Schoenhut shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17th,1911,USA. Comments: Schoenhut, model 308,the 19" size was available with either bobbed wig (see #159) or long curls as this example, circa 1917. Value Points: beautiful doll with wonderfully painted and preserved features, original wig, shoes, socks, antique costume.
