Description
7" (18 cm). Bisque socket head, painted short brown hair with forelock curl, painted blue side- glancing googly eyes with white eyedots, single stroke brows, accented nostrils of pug nose, closed mouth with crooked smile, composition five piece body with painted black socks and brown shoes, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5/0 D 9858 Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1920. Value Points: impish fellow with imaginatively designed expression, excellent bisque and painting.
