Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, pale blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, metal armature body and padded stockinette cover, bisque hands, bisque lower legs and bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gesland with Gaultier bisque head, circa 1875. Value Points: in superb virtually unplayed with condition, the doll owns an elaborate trousseau of the 1875 era, comprising seven gowns in various evening and day styles, six bonnets (several matching to gowns),various undergarments including beautifully detailed sacque, red leather shoes.
