15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with slightly upturned lip corners, two square-cut upper teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume, undergarments, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: charming little girl with unusual slight-smiling expression, square cut teeth, original wig, original early body and body finish.
