Description
To fit Huret style poupee,16"_17" (40_43 cm). Of
richest midnight black velvet,the gown features
skirt with wide box pleated centered at front
waist,fitted bodice,and is trimmed with black
silk thread embroidery,jet beads,and black lace.
Included is a matching silk lined cape,white
sheer muslin blouse with lace edging,black woven
silk thread evening cap enhanced with glass
beads,and a superb pair of black velvet evening
heeled slippers decorated with gold metallic
flower and lined with silk. The costume was
featured in the book,The Trousseau of Blondinette
Davranches,and is of a quality to suggest its
origin from Huret or Bereux. Very fine condition.
