9" (23 cm). Paper mache lady with black painted hair and facial features, slender kid body with wooden limbs, original costume, is posed behind a table laden with lady's wares and novelties including needlework tools and samples, tiny doll, buttons, seashells, booties, and costume elements. The entire arrangement is preserved on velvet covered base under glass dome. Condition: arrangement well preserved, the doll face is crazed. Comments: circa 1850. Value Points: beautifully detailed peddler arrangement with myriad of details.
