Having firm-sided base with original canvas and leather cover and brass stud trim, and with working lock and key, below the attached carpet-bag canvas top with striped design, brass frame, and braided-leather handles. Generally excellent. French, circa 1875, the sac du voyage is extremely rare to find especially in this size.
