Description
14" (36 cm.) All-wooden carved doll with socket head, sculpted short hair in boyish fashion with curl onto forehead, intaglio carved brown eyes, snub nose, closed mouth, spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing. Condition: repainting of facial complexion and light craquelure, hair and body excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17th 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, model 207, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful detail of hair sculpting, antique linen costume may be original.
