Description
15" (38 cm). Lithographed tin boat in green and
cream in which Popeye is seated holding onto the
wheel, pipe in mouth, red and black sailor shirt
and white cap. When wound, the propeller turns.
Good original condition, minor dents, wear and
some discoloration to lithography, missing knot
by propeller. Marked "Popeye speed boat, No. 400,
1935 King Features Syndicate, Hoge Mfg. Co, USA".
