Poured wax shoulder head, tiny brown glass enamel inset eyes with sleepily-modeled eyelids, defined eyeliner and brows, closed mouth, accented lips, blonde hair delicately inserted into head, softly stuffed muslin body with stitch-jointing, poured wax arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Pierotti. Comments: English, Pierotti, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful character-like expression with pleasing complexion, original body, antique burgundy homespun and velvet costume with lace trim, undergarments, knit stockings, leather slippers, cap.
