Description
9 1/2"H (24 cm). Standing upon the roof of a
tin dance hall with lithographed illustrations of
a minstrel show are a black man in show
costume along with a performing dog and
young black boy with violin. When wound, the
figures should dance about. Very good
condition, works sluggishly. Marked
"Charleston Trio, Marx". American, Marx, circa
1930.
