Description
11" (28 cm). One-piece bisque figure of seated
baby with head tilted sideways, arms uplifted,
ankles crossed, with well detailed sculpting of
short blonde baby hair, intaglio painted blue
eyes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, closed
mouth with wistful expression, modeled white
smock with pink trim. Excellent condition. Marked
Heubach (sunburst mark and blue stamp). Gebruder
Heubach, circa 1912, outstanding portraiture of
character face and body dimples.
