Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, left pierced ear hole pulled through. Marks: 2/0 (head) F.G. 2/0 (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1876. Value Points: rare petite size, very sturdy body, brilliant eyes.
