Description
18" (46 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head,
narrow blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly
lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed
mouth with full downcast lips, accented space
between the lips, full cheeks, brunette mohair
wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed
body, antique costume. Condition: generally
excellent, tiny eye rim pinflake, original firing
flaw on flat edge of crown rim, hands not
original. Marks: 6970 Germany 7. Comments:
Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points:
especially pleasing wistful expression
enhances the very choice bisque and
