Description
15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head with chubby-
modeled cheeks and chin, light brown painted
boyish hair, painted pale blue eyes with large
black pupils, white eyedots, black and incised
upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
center accent line, composition and wooden ball-
jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,
black velvet toddler costumes, leather shoes.
Condition: generally excellent, original firing
line at back of head. Marks: 7759 Heubach
(square) Germany. Comments: rare model with most
appealing wistful expression. The doll appears
in "Heubach Character Dolls and Figurines" by
Lydia Richter, page 60.
